2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account details such as your name, email address and password or sign-in credentials.
- Onboarding answers: native language, English level, healthcare role, learning goals, weekly learning goal and daily reminder preference.
- Learning activity: chapters, exercises and quizzes completed, XP points, XP Milestones, Achievements, Master Course progress and active days.
- Messages you send us, for example when you contact support.
Information collected automatically
- Sign-in and session information.
- Device and browser information, and a notification identifier if you allow push notifications.
- Technical logs such as IP address, access times and error reports, used to keep the Service secure.
Payment information
If you buy a paid subscription, payment is processed by our payment provider [Payment provider, e.g. Apple App Store, Google Play or Stripe]. We receive confirmation of your subscription status but do not store your full card details.
3. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account.
- To personalise your lessons, recommended chapters and Learning Journey based on your language, level, role and goals.
- To track progress, award XP, Milestones and Achievements, and count your active days.
- To send daily learning reminders, only if you choose a reminder time and allow notifications.
- To manage subscriptions and provide the access included in your plan.
- To respond to questions and provide support.
- To maintain the security of the Service and comply with applicable law.
4. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only:
- With service providers who help us run the Service, such as hosting, analytics, email, push notifications and payment processing. They may process data only on our instructions.
- When required by law, court order or a government authority.
- As part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this Privacy Policy.
5. Notifications
We ask for notification permission only after you choose a reminder time. If you select "No reminders", we do not ask. You can change this in Settings or in your device settings at any time.
6. Data retention
We keep personal data while your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
7. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and, where relevant to you, the GDPR), you may ask us to access, correct, update or erase your personal data, withdraw consent or raise a grievance. 9. Children
The Service is for healthcare professionals and students and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you through the Service.
